Combining denim and a starry pattern in an ode to welcoming spring in none other than rag & bone, one of my favorite brands of all time. It's a label that's synonymous with the effortlessly cool, that's fun but grown, that's mostly casual but usually thoughtful - something that I've always associated with spring styling.

As mentioned previously, this year I'm trying to widen my sartorial reach to more prints and patterns, and try sophisticated silhouettes while maintaining the casual, simple aesthetic that I normally go for. These spring/summer pieces from rag & bone strike the perfect balance between the fresh and familiar:

Sadly I did not make it out to Coachella this year, but I do look forward to the carefree air that seems to follow the festival season. I feel like festival season is the marker of the brink of summer: the desert tones, balmy bodies, the juxtaposition between the vibrant and fun and the modest and minimal, and that laissez-faire modus. All of these things are encapsulated in Eggie, the uber cute yet spunky brainchild of the ever so adorable Jenn Im. As a fellow Angeleno and festival fiend, I feel like she just gets 'it' and how to dress in warmer weather. Many of the pieces in her collection seem to fit just right even for petites and the vertically challenged, which is a major plus. Peep some of my favorite pieces for spring and summer below:

Hi guys! AHH, in the blink of an eye, it seems as if spring has arrived... it especially seems that way on here. Needless to say, I've been posting more consistently on Instagram and Stories but decided I should link you guys to more options here as I'd gotten quite a few inquiries about this top. You guys know I'm not normally one for colorful garb (although I think I'm open to turning a new leaf on that front), so instead of jumping right into an explosion of color, I decided that I'll take it easy this transitional season and go for sheer pieces or an exaggerated cut instead... and then maybe slowly edge into that polychromatic zone. Think: neutrals in tulle, polka dots, texture, ruffles, layers, because monochromatic can still be vibrant and feminine. For those who feel the same, here are some alternatives to typical, colorful spring styles:

On that previous note, I know this place has been collecting a bit of dust over the past couple months and I've actually gotten a few concerned emails and DMs about it, but I promise I haven't forgotten about this space of mine. I've been steadily thinking about ways to improve this site, hopefully making it less of a landing page and more of a digital home, to make it feel more like myself and the ways I've grown outside of this realm of fashion and beauty. I'm hoping to bring it back to life soon enough. Until then, there will be a few posts scattered here and there. Thanks for sticking around and being patient x
