Diptyque candle, CLUSE mesh watch, Daniel Wellington watch, NARS body glow oil
Slowly counting down the days of the year by happily nesting at home and savoring the moment - does anyone else feel like life's sped up especially during the holidays?

Bar III slip dress, fishnet stockings (and also here), Casetify phone case
It's hard to believe that another (new) year is already upon us; this entire past year truly felt like it had just zipped right on by considering how much has happened worldwide. I hope this holiday season, amidst the pretty lights and bountiful presents here at home, we're able to recalibrate ourselves and love one another. Peace.
Bar III jacket, top and pants, Chinese Laundry mules, Brixton cap
When winter and the holidays near, I will normally have something shiny within arm’s reach - metallics and smooth surfaces elicit warm thoughts and fun festivities for me. This year, I’m giving rose-hued leather jackets from Bar III a try, along with super shiny slip dresses and metallic body cons. Here’s my Bar III edit, with all of my favorite pieces from their current collection styled for the holidays! Above, I wore this blush-colored leather moto over a black canvas—a fun, layered camisole and cropped trousers (also from Bar III)—and polished it off with a fiddler cap and suede mules.
Bar III sweater and slip dress, LOQ boots, Rag & Bone beret, Max Mara fishnet stockings
This might be my favorite look for a dinner party or just a fun day out: a shiny slip dress (beautiful in person) layered under a mock neck knit, with a shearling beret, fishnet stockings and a thick zipper detail thrown in the mix. It’s fun but not too loud, which is a great delicate balance.
Bar III metallic dress and leather jacket, Sigerson Morrison boots, Adornmonde necklace
And lastly, a more sophisticated and delicate look: a Bar III metallic midi dress with a leather jacket draped over. This is also a great look for a dinner party or a night out on the town - the metallic is gorgeous and can be worn alone or layered under coats and sweaters, dressed up or down with heels or boots.
Malo coat, Flynn Skye dress, Louise et Cie bag and sneakers
It's amazing what this time of the year can do to one's mood. I mean, you almost always know what to expect--the type of songs that'll start airing on the radio, the rotation of Christmas feel-good movie marathons playing on the tube, the same decor that'll overtake storefronts and neighborhoods--year after year. And yet...there's a sort of comfort in being able to revel in the cheer, in knowing that it's simply the season. It's the season, a gentle reminder to slow down, to enjoy colors and moments just-because, to appreciate the old and the new.
Following suit, my ode to the season's spirit and treasuring the new with the old is taking a trip to a local pop shop (a neighborhood and childhood favorite). Fittingly, in tow is this awfully cute Louise et Cie pom-pom bag, offset with a pair of their sleek sneakers. Comfort is still much appreciated no matter the season, and this pair is the perfect elevated version of that. Wishing you all a happy holiday x
L’oreal 'EverPure' shampoo and conditioner, Rennou toothpaste, True Botanicals mist, Coqui Coqui perfume, Rag & Bone weekender bag (similar), Timberland scarf (similar)
Over the past few years, my hair has grown to become at times brittle, coarse, dry, and sometimes just broken down (especially the ends). I don't know the exact causes—it could be at times when I travel and just overall stress that comes with it, it could be the consequences of dyed hair, or it could even be aging—but I try and maintain it by moisturizing it the best that I can.
Every so often I'll use L'oreal's EverCrème Intense Nourishing shampoo and conditioner, and instantly feel and see a lift in my hair. Both are free of harsh sulfates and parabens, and both have natural omega 3 and 6 to help hydrate hair. Once a week I'll run the shampoo and massage it into my scalp to cleanse; I'll follow up with the EverCreme conditioner and apply throughout my hair. While I lather up on body and face wash, I'll leave the conditioner on so that my hair really soaks it in. I find that the benefit of any conditioner is maximized this way. Once finished, I come out feeling refreshed and totally detangled, both literally and figuratively.
On other days, because my hair is ombre'd, I'll use L'Oreal's EverPure Blonde Shade Reviving Treatment. It does what it says it does- prevents the blonde from getting brassy but maintains the shine. Because I’m rather low maintenance on my hair, it's imperative I maintain it with shampoo and conditioner that actually work. Just thought I'd share my latest favorites.

Does anyone else remember their travels, time and space, and events by smell? Personally, fragrances are the first to invoke sweet memories of places and of endearing encounters with people. One day I'm transported back to wistful alleyways in Paris, and then to New York on my way home to the states. The next I'm grazing on pineapple on the beaches of Tulum just days before being back home to Los Angeles, where I'll take a short pitstop before immersing in the electrifying air of Tokyo.
Here you have all of my favorite moments and environments bottled up for me to remember, collected from my trips throughout the past few years x
Abercrombie & Fitch faux fur jacket and jeans
Throwing a statement coat over a muted canvas is my approach to a winter’s day in LA. Loving how versatile this faux fur crop is - it’s quite easy to layer and is just as flattering with lighter colors as it is against dark colors. Found this one perusing all the good wintry coats at A&F, along with these perfectly destructed and cropped flared jeans that actually fit very well from hip to mid-leg (for a short girl). My denim go-to since day one.
It's that time of the year again... here some of my favorites from the sale/this season: Kéji ribbed turtleneck / Ryan Roche turtleneck dress / Robert Clergerie sandals / Loren Stewart hook earrings / J. Hannah earring / Gucci navigator sunglasses / Kenzo cropped pants / Isabel Marant suede boots / Acne Studios coat / Loewe aviator sunglasses
And great gifts for others (thirty percent off until the third of December): Calvin Klein bralette and bikini set / New Balance sneakers / 14k yellow gold earrings
A&F anorak jacket, crop top and button-up shirt, One Teaspoon jeans, Céline sunglasses
It has probably been our warmest autumn yet and while there are worse things, I'm starting to wonder if this perpetual summer is just going to keep me in la-la mode. There are things I've been wanting to check off my lists--to-dos, must-eats, go-sees--fall/winter pieces I want to style for Neon Blush, but I'm feeling thwarted by the days' lingering rays. Good thing Abercrombie is keeping it easy to layer it on light with their latest cargo of crew sweaters and faux fur options (ordered this recently- love it). Fall-time layering in Los Angeles equates to: pairing a crop top under a lightweight poplin and occasionally throwing over a dutiful anorak and calling it a day with loose, destructed jeans. Casual with a hint of boyish ease. I'm very much a product of my environment and until I position myself in a place with the right conditions, I guess this'll do for now x
This mini 'La Vedette' watch from Cluse is my preferred size of their latest velvet collection. The fabric is been having a moment this season and I'd been waiting to find a watch that makes great use of it without parading it. The silver face with dark blue velvet straps on this one is clean and elegant but subtle. It's perfect for doing laid-back chic--I like putting them over long sleeves when I sport watches and working it into my everyday fit has gone seamlessly.
Louise et Cie boots and bag, Zara coat, Céline sunglasses, Adornmonde earrings
Of all the things I own from Louise et Cie's collection of the copiously chic, these 'Balasia' block-heel boots and 'Alis' small cross body have got to be my favorite of all. The boots are assertive with that taut leather and the eye-catching block heel; the bag's luxurious pony hair in a rich jet-black, complete with Louise et Cie's signature octagon turn lock in gold hardware... all the elements, it's just perfect. Keeping these on from day to night - repeat.
Zadig & Voltaire sweater, boots and python clutch, Out From Under slip dress, Wolford stockings
This weekend was spent lazing around town in this amazing oversized and half-stitched, undone sweater from Zadig & Voltaire and balancing that with a little bit of pizzazz underneath, a peek of python and dainty combat boots. A hodge-podge of sorts, but that perfectly summed up my leisurely activities of the past week-- a rollercoaster of: late nights and libations, hot days and chilly nights, ethnic comfort food, iced coffee runs in the mornings, and staying perfectly still and quiet on the weekends. Find me somewhere in the middle of live-fast and real-slow.
A&F puffer jacket, bomber jacket, straight-leg jeans and Louise et Cie sandals
Fall in LA has always been a funny thing; it is never usually consistently cold and actually not cold enough at all. But it's my favorite season of all and I'm committed to making things work with what I love. Cue: an attempt at layering with a lightweight bomber and an oversized puffer from Abercrombie & Fitch. The bomber outerwear, a perfect fall item light enough to layer on or to wear on its own if your weather permits. For the versatility, go up 1-2 sizes so that it could double as an off-shouldered top folded at the arms or as an oversized jacket. Similarly, having gone up a few sizes for the puffer, I could see it paired with lighter pieces (a slip dress, light sweatpants) that would work just fine for a mild autumn.
Storets blouse, Adornmonde earrings
Really digging these earrings from Adornmonde, and just geometric and oversized earrings in general. Thinking about adding a few more piercings...
Helmut Lang denim jacket, OTTE slip dress, Timberland boots, Furla bag
City dwelling in my Timberlands- giving these soles (a perfect shade of gray suede) a test run from showroom visits and coffee dates to lunch breaks and back. So far, so good: you've got the comfort of hiking boots with a style fit for the streets. Now awaiting for fall to *officially* hit LA so I can break these babies in.
Staud top, Zara knit trousers, Louise et Cie bag and brogues
I'm back at home and this time I took a bit of Paris with me- in the form of fancy shoulders, gold-studded leather bag, oversized pants and proper brogues. I love the perspective that traveling lends, especially in the realm of fashion. To me, French style is equal parts sophisticated, cool, polished, and undone... both feminine and masculine. A balance of all the best things, if you will. And all of that is embodied in this match up with Louise et Cie's killer fringe brogues and chic studded bag - the mix of gold hardware, masculine soles and a feminine purse is making me feel like I'm still perusing the streets of Paris. I'm especially drawn to how simple the slip-ons are, but also how incredibly unique they are: the stacked wooden heel, the woven fabric, the gold clip and the tiered layers of patent, leather and suede fringe? Genius.
