Army of green

As much as I'm all about the crop top and sticking to black & white garments, this season I'm finding myself gravitating towards extended long tops and some color, namely olive green, merlot and midnight blue. To favor color in the fall rather than in summer seems backwards maybe, but this routine makes sense (to me at least). The ability to add layers in an outfit highlights dimension when using different textures/shades in the same hue. I'm looking forward to trying completely monochrome looks by mismatching (great inspiration here).

Khaki, denim and a pair of killer heels? Yeah, I'm sold. That Zara top, by the way, just gets better and better the more I look at it and it's killer details, like the split and longer length.

Damn it lady, you always look so fab!

That's because "fall colours" are nicer than "summer colours"! I much prefer darker and more muted colours than bright ones. Khaki, navy, and burgundy all the way!
