I love collecting delicate jewelry, especially silver ones, and up until last month I had them all haphazardly stored in multiple boxes. Kind of stress inducing, as I was periodically under the impression that a particular piece was missing. I finally made my way over to the MUJI store in Hollywood and got this acrylic jewelry storage box, along with the taupe inserts for each of the four drawers. Whew. I wish I could tag these photos and have you roll over the pieces to see exactly which ones I'm linking to, but I hope this will suffice... my favorite and most worn pieces:
Jennifer Zeuner wishbone bracelet and mini bar necklace / Beroeptech slash ear stud / Wanderlust + Co orbit ring and bar-and-chain ring / Phyllis + Rosie mini v-bar necklace / Loren Stewart 3-bar cuff ring / Stella and Bow seward bangle / Zoe Chicco knuckle rings / Vera Meat bone-ita ring

Hate to make this post a lot shorter than I normally would but I'm currently running on low levels of energy (surprise, surprise, always before I'm about to travel) and I'm not sure if these sentences I'm forming are actually coherent. 5:00 AM talk. Anyway, this seems to be the pace of my life as of late, and to accommodate this I'm usually dressed in the basics- the stuff I can easily fall back on and not have to think twice about. Though this was taken a while back, you can still find me in this t-shirt dress from UO (runs big, I'd size down) with a leather jacket staple over, a "showier" pair of shoes, and I'm out the door.
Catch me on Instagram to see where I'm headed in a few hours! x

Aside from coffee and Birkenstocks, the only other thing completely consistent in my life for the past few months is the winning combination of overalls and crop tops. I’ve already got an arsenal of crops so the pairings have been rather uncomplicated. It just makes sense though- side-midriff action is entertaining and tasteful when the rest of your body is clothed in one piece of fabric. Overalls are easy and mindless, and crops are the quintessential staples for summer. Also, how else will anyone know where your torso ends if not for the cut-off?
Shop my picks for the two here (Paige Denim’s are my FAVORITE fit):

Posting this set of photos I snapped a few weeks back... I know summer isn't officially here just yet, but on this day as the sun was slowly setting, its remaining light shone through the budding flowers and leaves I stood nearby, and it was then that I felt summer's early arrival. An inexplicable peace and excitement for what was to come, that was what denoted the onset of summer.

Ahh sorry for going MIA – I ran off to New York and needed to disconnect from the computer screen. It was a great refresh and while at a coffee shop I started thinking about how blessed I am to have been able to travel and experience all the new places this year alone. Parts of Europe, New York, San Fran, Palm Springs, New York again, and uncharted territory, London, coming up soon… while flying abroad is really exciting, sometimes the simpler, shorter trips taken with your friends by way of car are the most memorable. Coachella still remains one of my fondest memories of all time (I know, I can’t shut up about it).
Driving to Coachella during weekend two was so fun – I took a 2014 Kia Soul to Indio with an appropriate Coachella line-up playlist on blast, windows down and sunroof wide open with an abundance of sunlight pouring in. Taking the Soul to Coachella worked out perfectly. The size allowed my girlfriend and I to pack all our stuff efficiently and still enjoy an ample amount of space to enjoy the ride—something that’s a must for road trips. And I can’t even start on the sound system- the ride to Palm Springs was smooth and easy, not only on the road but on the ears, too. Well equipped with Infinity speakers, the Soul made the songs we played sound upfront and present – does that make sense? Kind of like actually watching an artist perform their song. That good.
Much like the trip to Coachella in its entirety, taking the Soul was an absolute experience in itself. A lot of the experience was lent from surprise-factors, which stemmed from its crazy good sound system, the power (gotta love that torque) even while being fuel-efficient and energy saving, and the roominess despite the compaction of the car. Oh, and who can forget the ambient mood lighting for the late night trips back from Coachella grounds to our hotel. Unforgettable times. Thank you Kia for doing our road trip right!
P.S. this weather proof jacket from K-Way x Maje was the best accessory for unreliable Indio weather – lightweight for the heat but enough to shield from the wind and sand that came my way. Love it.
P.P.S. expect for a more frequent posting schedule coming up - I've been documenting outfits that I need to unload soon or else it'll be way, way past season haha.

Here in LA it already feels like we're in the thick of summer and when I step out, the last thing I want to feel is extra weight or clingy fabric on me. This translates into stepping out in shapeless tops, open, a-line pleated skirts, and maybe the most crucial accessory of the season: a mini cross-body bag. Because who wants to lug around a heavy shoulder bag when the heat already feels all too-consuming? I know the cross-body has been around for a minute but I'd been on the look out for THE one--the right shape, structure, leather type--and finally found it in this Saint Laurent beaut from Gasmy. One that met all of above with an added touch of detail- the small silver studs did it for me.
The little things that elevate basics--necklines, pleats, discreet studs--are what make it perfectly okay for me to continue purchasing things in my wide color spectrum of neutrals. You know, for easy dressing and for effortless integration with other classic basics, like this denim jacket. When the heat finally gives in to some evening time breeze, a broken-in rigid denim jacket goes over the pleats and studs- done.
