Criss-crossed

4/1/13

Forever21 sweater, Zara top and pants, Sigerson Morrison boots, Proenza Schouler PS11, RayBan wayfarers, Nordstrom beanie

Even though I generally conclude that they are the hardest things to style, I'm always seemingly drawn to two-toned things, whether it's on a jacket with different colored sleeves or on bottom with one color in the front and another in the back. This pant in particular reminded me of a piece I think I remember seeing from Isabel Marant FW13. So good. Oh Zara. So anyway, about the t-shirt I'm wearing underneath my trusty fuzzy cropped sweater-- the embellishment isn't something I'd normally go for, but I like how the criss-crosses look from afar. A little bit of Phillip Lim? That peekaboo dash of detail needed in an otherwise simple outfit, done.

Those pants are amazing! You always pair everything so well together that even your inexpensive finds look so styled and expensive.

The PS11 looks bigger here than I originally thought it was. I really want one now & I'll always love embellishments. You wear them well here.
