Don't take that beanie off

Inspired by the lovely BCBG Max Azria FW'13 collection that graced the runway at the Lincoln Center just yesterday. Mouth-droppingly fantastic layering from head to toe, obstruction and architectural dressing at its casual finest. Sick outerwear, and of course, the beloved beanie(!). I always love seeing how Max and Lubov tip off NYFW-- they do it so well. The dress above, a la true BCBG Max Azria form, features abstract print and lace panels. Layer it under an oversized furry looking coat and over sky-high leather boots, along with a boxy clutch, to achieve that put-together-but-relaxed grungy feel.

If you're like me and you can't wait for those insanely cool thigh-high pumps to come out, there are these Shantelle leather lace-up pumps... not as tall, but they ease the qualms of not having the thigh-highs right this instant. But seriously, so good. Great job BCBG!
