Because the weather has been painstakingly gorgeous lately, I fished out this old gem of a sweater - in mint (haha, get it?) condition - to pair with a long tank/dress-type of concoction from Zara. I love the fact that it's drapey, ultra soft, and it comes in basic colors (snagged myself a black one as well) and in neon, my favorite hue as of late. Anyway, about the headline...

And while I'm ogling over dresses... I've been keeping an eye out for the perfect summer dress and accessories (reminder - gotta work on getting at least mildly tan this year), and these have particularly caught my attention. My favorite's the Dystie dress from Theyskens' Theory, its shape and off-white, tweedy-sheen combination is too good. Dainty and effortless, but structured. The color of the Zara mini-shopper gets me - it's safe to wear during spring/summer, and fall/winter. And... those Karen Walker black/neon retro sunnies? Totally in line with my current obsession with bright hues. And lastly, the Isabel Marant slouchy boots. They're named the "Jenny" brush-suede ankle boots and I can't help but have a corny, sentimental tie to the shoes, haha. Of course, the black ones are pure perfection as well, but I've been wanting a GOOD pair of taupe boots...
